Ben Rayner is the Global Head of Sales at Silent Eight, where he leads the development of strategic partnerships with major financial institutions. His work is integral to delivering Silent Eight’s AI-driven solutions to the world’s most complex compliance environments, helping clients set new benchmarks in financial crime prevention. Ben brings 25 years of banking experience, including leadership roles across operations, analytics, and financial crime compliance. He spent over a decade at NatWest Group, followed by the Co-operative Bank, and HSBC, where he ultimately served as Group Head of Name Screening. At HSBC, he played a key role in the bank’s collaboration with Silent Eight to automate alert adjudication — an initiative that won the AI Breakthrough Award for Best MLOps Solution. Ben is committed to fostering long-term partnerships and aligning high-impact technology with the evolving needs of financial crime teams, leveraging his banking and financial crime risk experience.
